Training offered by the union is open to all members. The local Executive would like to encourage interested members to take advantage of this opportunity. Here are the recommended steps:
- Identify when the course you are interested in is being offered;
- Request approval in writing from your supervisor for leave without pay for the required workdays - the union will reimburse your salary;
- Enter your leave without pay in the system;
- Inform a member of the local Executive - they will be able to provide you additional information as required;
- Claim your pay reimbursement.
